re: bali 9 andrew chan - firing squad well, s4rx7, kill enough messengers and the message (drugs) might not get out anymore? Isn't that the point?

Do the mules know the source? Maybe a plea bargain? Does that exist in Indonesia?

Reading about how time in jail is in Bali I'd prefer death.

Clearly they knew exactly what they were doing. Strapping drugs to your body you must be thinking "hey, I could actually get caught with this stuff on me". Think before you act. Clearly they had plenty of days to think before they landed in Indonesia.

I don't support the death penalty but have difficulty arguing against it in certain cases (drugs, pedofiles, serial killers). There are plenty of humans in the world who are nothing but animals (read predators). Anything less than life in jail or death for many of them is a slap in the face for us who do our best to be good citizens. Heck, I am happy to stand up in the bus if it is crowded and elder person gets on, and so on.

Also, life in jail costs more tax dollars??
