Yes it pays to be a contrarian... go opposite of the the crowd... the crowd is now overwhelming Bearish ...has been for some time now... Just as bulls get starry eyed looking through rose colored glass at the top and hold too long the Bears will start to believe their own negative views be stymied in pulling the buy trigger (they will have their own set of increasingly opaque goggles which will cloud their objective view .....).
