    Where the hell is everyone getting this idea that anything below 10% TGC will not be economic?

    Typically smaller deposits require high grades to make profit (high grade low tonnes) in the case of mega projects (think Boddington) lower grades require higher tonnes and throughput and can still be extremely profitable.

    In the case of TON we are fortunate to be blessed with (potentially) billions of tonnes of higher than average grades with pockets of exceptionally higher grade ore. Even the 7-9% ore that many are dismissing would still be considered high grade for other explorers. In other words, the transportable development ore is still considered process-able for profit. That in itself is a huge upside.

    This 10% figure seems to have just fallen out from the sky, just take a look at SYR's operational costs there's plenty of room to move.
