Calling a female presenter a "girl" in the way you do is absurd. She's obviously a grown woman, and if it was a bloke making similar statements that would be ok...he's just being strong-minded.
Finally, diction, spelling and pronounciation? None of these go to substance.
I am a well educated person relatively speaking, and while I have personal preferences and annoyances involving those matters, they don't go to substance and most fair-minded people would have the commonsense to put them to one side. You reluctance to do so, says a lot about you and your values.
Eric Abetz btw, has an extremely annoying speaking voice. Tony Abbott is very hesitant as a speaker, and is not naturally eloquent.
Paul Keating had no tertiary education and was extremely well spoken and a brilliant orator.
Listen and learn.

Dolcevita I am afraid I disagree . A " grown woman " or a " grown man" would realise that being so emotive with such a delicate subject is very immature.
It is not appropriate for a potential PM to have poor diction of such a fundamental nature. There is nothing inappropriate about my character thank you.
