the exact impact of clouds is somewhat uncertain
but
- that uncertainty is built into IPCC models and forecasts
- it is only one factor affecting climate response to greenhouse gases
- while it is a factor it is by no means an overwhelming one
- and given the current models do forecast reality pretty accurately, even with that cloud impact uncertainty, I would have thought an open mind would still go with the big picture the scientists are telling us
its getting warmer and it'll get uncomfortably so, along with increased storms, rising sea levels, ocean acidification, impacts on food supplies
etc etc
and while clouds might just possibly offer a bit of negative feedback, I am not liking what they are finding about ice shelf collapse, tundra melt and and the other things that swing in the other direction

mjp,
You say its a factor but not an overwhelming one. How do you know that? The assumption is that clouds have little effect but we actually don't yet know that.
You state that the models forecast reality pretty accurately is a complete joke. They fail completely! they didn't predict 17 years of NO warming at all.
