2nd fda lcence, page-4

I'm no expert in the field but I have read the FDA site about orphan drug status....I believe FDA gives the status to drugs in areas which dont attract much research/new drugs....because there's no much money to be made in treating that particular disease...

The company is saying that once it gets to market, it can show the drug can be used against other cancer types....which may be true...

Other people can enlighten me if I'm wrong...
