Didn't you see those stellar performances at interview. They weren't smarmy, scripted, fawning Bolt person interviews either. This was a fiercely independent interviewer with intellect, not someone who only needs to know what Rupert wants.

Under Labor, the economy grew by an ominous 13% while the US only managed 2.25% and the EU actually shrunk by 2%. How do ya reckon Joe's going at turning that around. Got the unemployment rate up already so he's off to a great start.

The biggest problem has been visa overstayers we could have up to 100,000 of them but no one really knows. Visa overstayers have always been a bigger problem than people prepared to risk their lives in unseaworthy boats. The risk of death at sea is a big deterrent in itself. I fail to understand why supposed macho righties get all teary about people who deliberately put themselves at risk and end up drowned. If we actually cared about unlawful non citizens we could spend a fraction of the money we now spend encouraging suicide in our overseas concentration camps. We could round up the hundred thousand or so who are unlawfully living in our great country and send them back to Austria or Canada or New Zealand or wherever they came from.
