Whilst this is good for NTC I find it interesting that the Telstra M2M solution for the Adelaide Metro did not use NTC products nor any product in the above list. The Adelaide Metro solution used Moxa devices.
So why did Telstra go for Moxa devices? Are they cheaper, better? How did this Taiwanese product get selected over NTC. Moxa don't even have an office in Australia but they do have distributors in Australia. Now that the Moxa device is certified on Telstra's network, will Telstra prefer to use Moxa devices over NTC's products? I am not asking these questions to get answers, the point I am trying to make is that there is competition and NTC products can be overlooked even on NTC's home ground.
