i worked on barrow on the gorgon job and its a nightmare. i wont say exactly what i did there but i can say confidently that the safety on the island is way overboard and is chevrons own undoing.

they allowed safety to have full unfettered reign in the first place and it comes back and bites them by extending the job exponentially - they dont have any hesitation in shutting the job down but when you question them they avoid you.

they stopped a job for over a month because no one could work out an erp - yet they had a crane standing next to the job not doing anything for most of that time. rescue? just utilise the bloody crane

the crew turnover rate is running at 60%. management need to be sacked and a totally new set put in place. worst job in the world - literally
