yep some analyst said their supply contracts fetch only $16 a lb compared to current spot at $37 but failed to mention how long for or when they started. I find it hard to believe that someone like ERA (with Rio's management expertise) would have signed such constricting contracts. In my experience these contracts are signed for a maximum of approx. 4 yrs, so if you date back to when spot was $16 l/b (jan 2004) then they have two years left...and if they were signed for less than that, a more likely two years then they should receive a dramatic benefit from the price increase in the next year...
