Warren Truss and Barnaby Joyce in the lower house and ministers ,tokenism gone mad.
In the last month Joyce has put forward 2 major propositions in a local the paper to compensate for his lack of local visibility.After all he is a minister now and has little time for local affairs.
The first was that The New England district should secede from NSW and become a separate state.A large historic piece starting on page one that took up another 2 pages in the paper.
A silly proposition and a silly article.
The second was the proposition that the senate is run by city folks.This should be a addressed by allocating 2 senators for different regions in the state.So in NSW for instance 2 senators could come from the Sydney area, 2 from the New England Area ,2 from Southern NSW etc.
