I would be happy to pay over $10 per Bbl for light oil in this scenario, so I believe that this price already takes into account of some of the risks.
I just got off the phone with a mate who has also looked at this from the outside. He was more interested in the API of the oil and was calling it condensate, which has some major positive ramifications in light of the relatively tight reservoir. i.e the fluid acts like gas in the reservoir, but trades as oil. Best of both worlds in fact.
He stressed that it may take some added plumbing on the FPSO, but would help dramatically in recoveries.
Just thought I would mention it in light of the continued concerns re flow rates. I also note that Apache did not mention gas. That may be the reason for my/our calculated OOIP and the relatively low number from Apache.
