Matias Korman is also showing some of the hypocritical traits already presented by many of the Government Ministers.

In an effort to find some common ground for his budget measures he has stated in the past each team has been more interested in how IT was going and had forgotten the economy is a TEAM effort.

No opposition in Australian history talked down our economy like the previous opposition.
No opposition (bar Malclom Frazor Govt) was as obstructionist.
No opposition has ever used every minute of a 24hr media cycle progressing ITS prospective on "the economy, asylum seekers, Gonsky, climate change,electricity prices, etc,etc,etc, to peruse the political ends of the LNP at the expense or the interests of this country.

While in opposition the proposition they took to the election was that the labor Govt had been terrible managers of the economy.That labor had been wasteful in its spending,through pink batts, stimulus packages etc.
The "budget emergency" was from labors spending.

The reality is different and has been shown by nearly ALL independent assessment.The main contributor to the downturn of the economy was due to the income side caused by the loss of income from mineral sales .The bigger cause was from tax cuts and "middle class welfare" locked into the budget for the long run by the Howard/Costello Governments.
The louder more powerful message was pushed by vested interests including the Murdoch Press.

Hockey,Korman,Abbott and the LNP must think the Australian people are stupid.They expect us to believe there is a "BUDGET EMERGENCY" when they
want to introduce a "gold plated" maternity leave scheme.
want to stop the income from the mining tax and carbon tax but retain the benefits and offsets.
want to spend billions on "direct action" when on one wants it

According to the economist there IS a BUDGET PROBLEM but not an emergency.

While in opposition it was ok for the LNP to talk the economy down in an effort to wreck the place,but now they are IN Government we should all play a "team game".

HYPOCRISY

The reality is now they are in Government and can not survive on "bull and bluster" we see they never had a plan beyond getting into Government at any cost.
