Q1 2015 huh? Looks like another delay to me, Awoonga, hey? Do you remember what they said to you at the 2013 GM about mining in 2014?

In general I agree with the sentiment that people shouldnt get too hung up about "no news", or waiting until end october before getting antsy but when some LTers start to vent a little more frustration than in times past, you have to take notice.

A solitary delay in a piece of communication can be explained away, but AVB has some "form" over a long period of time now. Now...all I am emphasising in respect of that comment, is that this project has had its fair share of challenges at every step along the road. Go back as far as you like - even to October 2010 - there have been "events" and "catalysts" and twists and turns  - and we are getting on to 5/6 years now (since IPO) and no-one who was here back in 2010 can honestly say that come August 2014 we would only be where we currently are......no FML, no PFS, and the bank finance (announced gloriously in June 2013) is still going through the "normal process" of finding other bankers to join the syndicate. (Along with everything else I expect most here will also eagerly await the release of the Stage 1 Proven/Probable Reserves statement "expected during Q3"). Remember they are going to need to get lots of copper out of Stage 1 just to fund the bridging loan needed to build Stage 2 until production

I'm not trying to be provocative here just for the sake of it, either. Yes...I am bearishly ambivalent in my sentiment (rather than bullishly ambivalent) but I am just adding my voice to that of a few others here who have expressed higher levels of frustration of late. It is understandable.

As I have alluded to in the past - and HH in recent times - every "next-big-announcement" was going to be a catalyst. One fellow even dared go into print with the infamous "this time its different" proclamation (He disappeared for awhile late last year but he's back now).

Mining is a tough gig - and not just the "at the end of the road" mining for profit part either - it includes all the stops along the way to the final destination. People are fast learning that lesson with AVB. People are right to feel antsy from time to time. It doesn't mean its all turning to custard but AVB Management can't afford to fumble the ball. They need a win.

Keeping the loyal retail shareholders more informed would help  - just like they acknowledged at last years AGM
