Hi Sypaladin, great joke but sorry to disappoint since I'm definitely not Bill Shorten - ROFLMAO; nor am I even distantly related to him or even one of his admirers. Malcolm Turnbull and Chris Bowen are my picks from those on offer due to their political performances thus far, the respect they've earned from the public, their personal integrity and their visions for our future.

As for your accusation of low content posts, normally the criticism levelled at my posts is just the opposite and I therefore try to make them more concise - as apparent even on this thread!

While I respect your right to applaud all things Tony Abbott I doubt such blind approval is going to curb his excesses enough for him to survive beyond his first term in office. As indicated by one of his former editors, Abbott is unaware of perspectives other than his own. Unless others point them out his pugilistic WIN-LOSE mindset dictates what happens - backing the world's most expensive and most controversial road tunnel without a business plan for it [EastLink in Melbourne] is just one example.

Abbott's hit first then hide from view approach is becoming increasingly apparent and the ones most likely to tire of it first are his very own MPs; as demonstrated by rumblings from within Liberal ranks.
