re: tomorrow's opening price...unbelievable I just tuned in to the thread this evening having not read any today. I don't hold SEN and don't particularly intend to but am interested in it because a friend is. I do like what I see of the company and their future. But at the moment I am more interested in the drama being played out here in Hotcopper.

What is it - over 300 posts today? This stock has been a classic learning exercise in market activity for newbies. There is a fundamental disconnection at all times between price and value of a stock. Most of the time they run along together, sometimes they don't. SEN ran into the 90's on the back of rampant speculation, not fundamental value; a classic divergence of price from value. It has corrected .. as it should have, back to a more reasonable price level.

Along the way some people have been burned because they got sucked into the rampant price speculation that was disconnected from Value and ended up paying a price that was high and then sold out at a price that was low. Well welcome to one of the most useful learning techniques in the marketplace - making losses by not having good/real reasons. If you don't really know why you're in a stock, or why you should get out or why you should hold, you deserve to get burned. In poker there's a saying that if you look around the table and can't pick the bunny then it's you. Trading or investing without a plan or knowledge is the same. You must develop the skills to be able to identify a good opportunity and when one is not.

Now here's another important lesson - it was your fault, not the company's. The company didn't drive the price up to a silly 90 cents and they didn't drive it down to 50 cents. Somehow they should be responsible for not helping you???? You're lucky that they stepped in now - they have no obligation to do so. That's the market folks - a whole lot of sheep milling around playing follow the leader to whereever the next el dorado is supposed to be. Well if you want to win you have to become the leader.

And now it's happening all over again. How much substance was there in the massive weight of posts today? I read over 200 straight before getting fed up and I am telling you there was very little in there. And here it's all starting again with crazy price predictions and speculation. The last few days it was silly negative speculations and irrational criticisms. I think Andrewe was about the only one offering up criticism in any constructive way over the last week by asking fundamental questions about management - I don't agree with a few of them but at least they were being asked on rational grounds, a lot of the rest seemed to be quite irrational.

The sooner everyone realises that this is a company with a long term agenda and focuses on the types of things Bello et al have discussed the sooner you will stop getting burned, start having realistic expectations and be accountable for your own investment decisions. The market goes up and down, particularly in potential growth stories like SEN - and will continue to do so, it may go down tomorrow. The only way to really win in these scenarios is to be skiled enough to identify a winning company and ride out the roller coaster by paying a price that represents fair value.

Good luck to holders and as always may foolish speculators get burned enough to learn from the error of their ways.
