Well I enjoy reading the arguments you put forward Lapdog, and at times find myself agreeing with your perspective.
Because I don't subscribe to two party politics, I often find myself rather marginalised in such discussions...However as a keen observer of political goings on, I do form critical opinions of all of the main players.
Apart from the fact I'm not a Liberal supporter...It does seem to me that any hope for a swing back to Labor (at Fed level) will not be realised so long as the leadership of ALP stays uninspired.... Shorten just doesn't cut it. I'd rather watch paint dry than listen to him, and find him lacklustre at the best of times. Here in my home state of QLD, Newman is well hated yet it would appear that there is not a ready alternative. I mean it's unlikely for the public to warm to the likes of Palaszczuk... so (as incredulous as it seems) QLD might actually vote in the PUP. A strange and concerning reality...
