Moondoong, I note your pre-emptively stated opinion ahead of the response you sought from me about Chris Bowen.

Bowen has impressed me with his exciting vision for our future, his integrity, his very professional and authorative demeanour including his capacity to engage with business leaders, the quality of understanding of issues he demonstrates, his media management and his performance acting as leader prior to Bill Shorten.

He appears as standing true to values such as those underpinning social democracies and able to weather the mud-slinging and character assassination Labor politicians are subjected to from within and from without. He also appears to work very well with all sections of his party, with the toughness needed to take a stand against excesses that plague the labour movement in general.
