Our after dinner speaker last week was a retired QC. He spoke about how the law can be stalled or changed, he then spoke about a case over in the west with RIO and CAZ. He clamed it is open and shut,black and white case, the lease now belongs to CAZ. How ever( you will love this bit, one two Sue) the chance of CAZ getting the lease is less than 5%, he said RIO would stall for up to five years, buy then CAZ will have a QC bill of around 15/18Mil, CAZ then will give the lease back for a small share of the proceeds. He then went on to say that Mr Carpenter has told the people not to gamble on this. Can some one in the west tell me if he did say this? Thanks
