This is a snippet from an interview with the SFR CEO posted early August. So at that time he would have known full year results , cash and the acquisition about to take place. And throughout the year he has indicated that dividends are close.

This is a CDU site and I do no want to continually post SFR things on here and have only done so to again show that gjcl's posts are, using his own terminology is "pure crap"
How anyone can possibly believe anything gj posts is beyond me. It takes less than a minute to research to find the truth.

Sandfire will consider introducing a dividend policy as it reviews results for the year ended June 30, according to Simich.
“The board is favorably disposed, and I believe we have the capacity and horsepower to commence looking at dividends,” Simich said. “It would assist us in becoming more attractive to a greater audience.”

By all measures so far SFR are ahead of CDU so no point anyone trying to denigrate SFR to try in some twisted way make CDU look better.

Where CDU goes from here is up to CDU & WM.
