Sorry, you are indeed correct. I thought for a second that by using neo-con arguments it would somehow leave an American state with some shred of independence, like Australia (Not much though). But if you follow the logic and history as you have, I am mistaken, and a colonial government fully under the power of Britain would rule. How naive I was. I apologize for my ignorant statement.
