Pedro - well pointed out. My calcs were for someone who is not a taxpayer and can claim the full FC. As soon as you have to deal with a taxpayer and then possibly CGT it does get most complex.
I'm in pension phase of SMSF so am able to extract probably the max benefit - there are probably at least 100/150k folks in the same situation, if not more.
