    Oh yes, I forgot to say: US hospitals will get rebated USD250/day for the use of this machine. It will cost them USD21-23,000 to buy it. Assuming a machine is used for 25% of the time each year the following payback is achieved.

    250 * 25% * 365 = USd22,812.50 per year! i.e. 100% return per annum.

    The machines, by the way, have a great opportunity because:

    a) neo-natal (new borns) children in intensive care currently have their breathing, heart and oxygen levels continuously monitored but their brains are only monitored irregularly. Yet brain damage is the main thing that they are trying to prevent.

    b) There are two other monitors out there. One, made by Viasys, costs USD35,000. It is also required to be continuously connected to the internet and is monitored at a neurologist's place of practice. This is dumb because the nurses at the bedside require instant feeback on any treatments that they happen to be giving the child. Olympic medical make the other device but their's is a very simple product that doesn't provide the data required to give a proper indication of the child's mental health. It costs USD20,000.
