I wouldn't be surprised if shales shareholding gets placed to a sophisticated investor as their holding is to big to sell on the market with the current volume.they will get the best price selling as one big parcel.in saying that,they obviously must think the uk gas assets are good if they stumped up the $$$ to aquire these in the first place,maybe they couldn't raise the money to buy the assets outright as planned but are happy to at least have some exposure to the gas assets through this direct shareholding.
