As for Israelis being better off, I don't buy it. BUT I don't live there so I guess I am not really qualified to judge.
Maybe Sharon will be viewed as a hero - the victors write history and you have the US to back you up. Might is right. Just hope they will always be there for you. Australia must hope the same.
