If you spend all day on Google, Newspapers, Wiki etc - you don't need security.

IF you spend your time on porn sites, chat rooms, games rooms etc you might need security.

Microsoft comes with defender. That is free and all you need. Anything else is pure hogwash and scare tactics by salesmen.

If you get norton, kaspersky etc to scan your system they will always tell you they have found and cleaned x number of viruses. Hogwash.!! Mostly only cookies.

Retired computer programmer and systems analyst. Never used any security provider and still running virus free after all of these years!!!

um no, Microsoft Defender is probably as safe as using gladwrap for a condom.
