re: last psycho post for a while..... I am happy with the markets and have put my month where my thoughts are that the top is in, over and down with. All has been said and done.

With those numbers you said before, I respect all forms of technical analysis, but fibonacci does not hold answers to the market. The reason for this is people have taken fibonacci to be something extraordinary and tried to force it onto the market and it is not consistent with its accuracy. The only reason why fibonacci appears to work sometimes is because when a market goes through 2 squares that distance is found by calculating the side by the SQRT of 5 and thus you have SQRT 5+1.... Its now that fibonacci works.... but its only coincidental that fibonacci works... fibonacci is not the cause.

As for fibonacci and time, there is one good book out (JC post the name for me, I forget), that uses the moon cycles and fibonacci which is interesting.... but as using fibonacci straight 1,1,2,3,5 etc it really has no meaning as time does not stay constant.

But as I said I respect it, but its more the way growth spirals work with fibonacci that works, not fibonacci itself.
