    JC,

    "It's all relative.

    Budhists avoid treading on ants and should we swat flies? Do vegetables feel pain?"

    =========================================

    The "Sensitivity" as you call it is not so much about acceptance of what we believe is barbaric, but rather being sensitive to other cultures way of killing livestock.

    I don't agree with the live export and the way they kill cattle, but then again Australia as a seller to the marketplace have groundrules laid down for any country who does not meet those guidelines, its simple
    don't sell to them.

    As for Budhists not wanting to step on "ANTS", what about the poor little blighters underground that the budhists can't see?? They get trampled underfoot. LOL!!!

    Regarding swatting "Flies", if your anygood at it, they never knew what hit them. The only time I wouldn't swat a fly is if "Johnny" made it our national bird.

    Fish and vegies are for eating. What do you think we should eat? STRAW!!!!

    Cheers markco2
