Yesterday, ROC reported
- ching start of production
- continuing good progress with Cliff Head development (including getting some critical components in place) and confirmed late March first oil expectation,
- confirmed rig slot for China drill in late April, and
- gave more detail on the West Aust exploration wells following Cliff Head development - also April, May
- (plus a few other things).
Jacala put back to mid March spud, and one North Sea development delayed slightly (about 1 month), other still on schedule. More 3D seismic commissioned in Angola, drilling late this year on 3D acquired in 2005.
Oil price up over our weekend.
So don't think yesterday's upwards move was related Jacala pre-spud. But ROC often moves up quickly then gives some back, so could expect it to be a bit down today (but here's hoping not!)
