Tony Abbott is the last person Australia needs right now. His natural tendency is to provoke, and whilst the disgusting actions of these I.S. terrorists can never be defended in any way, Abbott's propensity to cause trouble and incite those Muslims who normally conduct themselves in a law abiding manner can never be underestimated. At times like this, we don't need talk that is going to further incite or marginalise those who are already feeling marginalised despite their genuine efforts to assimilate and adapt.
Abbott has a dangerous mouth, and it was interesting watching a program on the "dreaded ABC" before, with one of the panel expressing deep concern about Abbott's words concerning the Muslim protest march, and the effect that provocation can have on people who feel they've been victimized unnecessarily. Worth watching, but perhaps too deep for those who love The Bolt Report....lol.
Yeah, I know the simplistic ranting that will follow what I'm saying, and what the panel was saying, but try to go a little bit deeper than just defending a person who is capable of abusing dying asbestos campaigners and grieving daughters.
I've always said that Abbott is the mistake that Australia needed to make, but I'm afraid my words may become even more prophetic than I ever wanted or imagined. Australia would be much better off without Abbott right now imho. Much better off.
