ddzx, I don't think you have the slightest idea what enlightenment is. You can't pursue it. The very moment you pursue it, you have made it an object of desire, and the very same craving ensues. Buddhism 101.
If you're avoiding normal sexual relations in order to get some divine 'payoff', you will end up bitterly disappointed just like the monks and the priests. It doesn't work that way.
