Gj,
Just to get a few fact correct about those overcontrolling shorters, I thought I would look up the actual numbers of short positions from different times this year.....
18 Feb, total short positions 7,800,697. SP ~$1.75
18 April, total short positions 8,734,847 SP ~$1.90
22 September, total short positions 7,833,377 SP~$1.67
I don't like shorting and think it should be banned, but since April the total number of shorts has gone down by nearly 1 million shares. That means the shorts closing out their positions by buying shares has actually helped keep the share price higher than it would otherwise be.
Imagine where the SP would be, right now, without that buying over the last few months when trading has been rather thin.
The number of short positions is pretty much the same as in Feb when the SP was ~$1.75, so shorters cannot be blamed for the current low price since then. On Thursday the big down day, there was only 23,797 shorts added, considering total volume traded was 323,990, shorts made up only 7.3% of the days trade, soit was someone else pushing the SP down, a share holder.
You and all other holders, need to start pointing the finger in the right direction for for poor share price direction. I suggest you do it at the AGM, because sitting at the desk up front are the people collecting high salaries, yet have failed to reach a sale after over 8 years since discovery and 2 years since getting a mining license.
Yes there will soon be some DSO sales, but don't expect it to set the world on fire as they don't have the ore sorter they need yet, nor a time frame for it's delivery and commissioning. The existing one, that CDU changed to a trial ore-sorter, only produces 120 tonnes of copper/mth from the low grade NCu ore, at it's 30t/hr rate. Even if it was in high grade Ncu ore of 10%+ it would only be producing 600t/mth.
How much 10%+ ore has been mined? They wont tell us. Why?
