I thought with last years resource upgrade that magnetite was one of, if not the main byproduct, hence the separate resource number for it. What you just wrote is 100% correct about the IO. We should not expect CDU's magnetite to be going anywhere for quite a while. It just wont be profitable.

The 5600ppm Co concentrate, another product, iscertainly not going to be profitable either at present prices lack of current rail option.

One option I'm surprised has never been looked at is the heap leaching of the oxidised copper, then refine it via SWEX to a finished product. The transport then becomes a non issue. The clayey nature of the surrounding material makes this option more difficult, but not impossible.

CDU are in enough difficulty getting product to market as it is, years behind schedule, trying to add something like REE now (or near future) is just not worth considering, nor exploring for. They do really needtojust concentrate on the main game, get some copper to market, as much as possible, and take pressure off share holders before the price collapses.
