re: aussie $ at 59.77!!!!!!!!!!!! now 59.46! According to Financial reporter on ABC this morning there was a huge short play placed last night (Tuesday)by a hedge fund - he wasn't too specific but he basically said that it was "on".

Regarding a low dollar being "good for exports" - that is sooooo simplistic - as I've said a number of times previously, economies that use their currency as a means of growing their economies are fooling themselves. Strong economies have strong currencies.
