It now appears that Andrew Wilkie's comment which included the quote below has proven a reality check for our culurally offensive, cowardly, spineless PM [my emphasis]. One who is now appears to be moving the attention and blame to others:

Even Abbott's own MPs are beginning to have serious doubts about rhetoric such as 'Team Australia' and Abbott's 'unhelpful comments' as signs emerge that is rotten government is coming apart at the seams:
