If Cairn market cap is up $300 million as reported then lets assume conservatively due our proportional lesser equity in FAN drilling we go up $100 million in market cap, divide this by 2.5 billion shares, gives $0.25 = 25 cents per share increase based on the math. Lets say 10 cents ( current last price) fully factored in this result, then are we looking at a 25c minus 10c = 15 cent increase in share price, taking us 25c. Is this considered a reasonable deduction to make. Plus of course there will now be a further expectational value put on the close-by SNE drilling to take place shortly targeting oil which migrated upwards from the FAN location based on the seismic data they have shown previously.
