    You are easily convinced.

The Zerohedge article does not address two critical points:
    1. What has the Fed to gain by manipulating the price of gold; and
    2. Where is the evidence of the Fed transacting physical gold or gold futures.

There is no motive, and there is no smoking gun.

The gist of the argument is that because the Fed does intervene in bond markets and currency markets, they must intervene in the gold market.

    1. There are obvious reasons for the Fed to be involved in bonds, bonds interest rates and currencies that can be linked back to the mission statement; and
    2. We can see evidence of these transactions in Fed disclosures.

    Neither is true of gold.

'(Jeffrey) Christian recently accused GATA of being "a group that makes money by basically bilking gold investors out of fees to support GATA so they don't have to get legitimate jobs."'
    Too true.
