Whilst I agree with most of your comments, I find it hard to believe that agents don't care whether the market is hot or not. You can hardly say stock has been hard to come by because the market is up? Property turnover is way up on a few years back, and that's exactly what you agents thrive on, quick and steady turnover. There definitely is a reason for agents to help their own cause by forecasting prosperous times. Even as a real-estate agent, you can't deny that.
