consolidation is only a smoke and mirrors trick - it has no effect whatever on market cap - once a company is lumbered with a huge share register it's screwed, unless it buys back its own shares from profits (did I mention 'profits'?) and no small company ever bought back a significant percentage of its own stock, I'm talking 50%. The point I'm making is that if you decide to invest in spec stocks which AHZ certainly is, then go for those with the smallest share register, that way there's a chance that if the stock ever does achieve anything it is more likely to be reflected in the sp. There are some who believe AHZ sp can hit $1 - that would make AHZ worth $1.6 billion - you'd have to be feeling very lucky.

far too many small spec stocks throw shares around like confetti in their early days - but if they are later successful they pay for it dearly.... which is why you see scores of mining stocks which having found something decent struggle to lift their sp past 10c and punters wonder why until they look at their long time bloated share register. FAR is a current good example of what I mean, where their 2.6 billion shares will forever cripple their sp. Not saying you can't make money out of such stocks but you'll never get the return you thought you might IMO.

just keep the share register in mind when punting....
