in defense of meerkat, not that (s)he needs my help, we are al aware of the concept of market cap, so spare all here the lectures on it. However the number of shares on issue does impact on the liquidity of the stock. For me, AHZ have too many uncommitted holders currently and the stunt of placing the stock so much lower that the VWAP did hurt the share price though it "rewards" those who participated. But if I hold 1m shares in AHZ at 15cts had an allocation of100k shares at 10cts, the loss of value of my main portfolio is not adequately covered by the profit I make on the placement.
