bdell it is your opinion that it is deceitful, personally I doubt they are deliberately "pulling the wool over our eyes, but as commented before better to under promise and over deliver which they have failed to do.
Some of us have followed the chair for years over a number of companies , he does not come across as deceitful person, quite the reverse he calls a spade a spade which if anything is his one slight character imperfection as sometimes he can be a little blunt with other actors ,current production is sure to be a matter of angst for him to given his shareholding and reputation are both on the line.
As for the rest of the crew If they were deceitful I suspect they would have been personally escorted off site by BJ .
