Although it's a pipe-dream, i'd like to think there was no poverty, no hungry people, and everyone was living under a roof. as this is not the case, it is an 'ideal' and is not 'real'. Doesn't politics come down to 'Idealism' versus 'Realism'???
Labor represents the 'idealist' way, and the Lib's representing the 'Realist', what is, way.
The Idealist way is not affordable, as Labor continually finds out. It also takes steam out of the economy, as giving incentive to the least productive, does not an economy make.
Anyway, thought the politics forum was looking a little boring today, so, thought i'd throw in a rotten egg.
