Very few CEO's will fly cattle class and stay at the local formula 1 motel these days.

AT.. you are awfully keen to knit pick ADO... not sure how either of these has anything to do with closing a deal, running a company well or anything else for that matter business related... besides the impact it may have on the bottom line .. right now imo its not enough to have any impact on the company... him flying ecomony and staying at the Holiday in is not going to put us into a profit nor is it going to send us to the administrator ...

For someone who travels as much as Geoff i see no problem with him flying business class as staying somewhere more comfortable than a Holiday in or Novotel...

i travel a lot (not as much as Geoff perhaps 3/4 as much) and let me tell you it aint all rainbows and butterflies and if i had to do it in cattle class and novotels as a CEO i would not last very long even if i loved my job and got a pretty penny for doing it.. i hope you have done the AUS-EUROPE flight many times for business (as i do and have) and not for pleasure.... if so do tell how long it takes from start to finish including all airport layovers ?? Flying for holidays is a different kettle of fish to business .. with Business you get of the plane and hit the ground running straight into meetings etc.. no time to freshen up an smell the roses ..

PS.. if Geoff resigned tomorrow and you placed a job ad stating that the new applicant would be flying all over the world for up to 200days of the year and be doing it with Jetstar or Virgin in cattle class and 3 star hotels.. i wonder how many applicants you would get??? Not many if any..
