OK have had a read of the Triton announcement and cutting through all of their big numbers there are just a couple of items that I am interested in -

Read beyond the big headlines and look at Metallurgy results hidden away on page 25 -

    Triton Minerals 21/10/14 - Page 25
Graphite flake size - Flake distribution
    +400um 7.3%
    +212um 15.9%
    +106um 36%
    +75um 17.1%
    -75um 23.7%

Remember what myself and others have said here time and time again.
China is not interested in Amorphous/fine flake product.
They have numerous mines with amorphous product in abundance and they have ZERO interest in this product line.

Once again I must re-iterate that China wants large/jumbo flake graphite free of deleterious materials.
Why do you think MNS has two signed MOU's with MAJOR players in China.
They don't sign these on chance.

Firstly and most importantly when you look at the table above for TON consider this -

40.8% of their product is below 106 microns - Amorphous low value product
23% of this is below 75 microns - completely useless in the marketplace

(Magnis has NO PRODUCT in this category.)

36% of their product is in the 106-212 micron category. This is not the standard way to report this data and I have no doubt they have minimal amounts around 200-212 micron so have decided to categorise this way. The VAST MAJORITY would be between 106-150 microns which is defined as Fine Flake.

(14% of Magnis Product is in the 100-150 Micron Category.- based on ann on 10/10/14)

15.9% of their product is in the 212-400 micron category. Again a very strange way to categorise and I believe the majority will be in the low 200 range with sprinklings up to 400.
(30% of Magnis product is in the Medium to Large Category of 150-300 micron)

7.3% of their product is in the 400 micron + category. This is not the standard way to report this data?
(56% of Magnis Product is in the 300+ Micron JUMBO Category.)

As I type their share price is 39.5 cents.
If you read the TON threads it is inundated with emotional posts, with little research and validity.
I know I don't want to invest my money is a product that may not be sold in the short term.
All I needed as validity of this was the responses to key questions at the recent Shaws Presentation by Triton Management as I have previously posted.

MNS cannot be compared to TON as they are two completely separate products.
MNS is JUMBO Flake free of deleterious materials vs TON which is mainly amorphous/fine - 76% - with vanadium mixed in to the product. It will require a lot of processing to sell and it seems that the market is only interested in the vanadium. Just look at SYR for proof of this.

TON should only be compared to SYR - Let them fight that one out as they both have MASSIVE RESOURCES however what is the point of having 3000 year mine lives????
    There is no point.

The end goal at MNS is production in 2015 before ALL of our competitors.
Let the news flow continue in the near future and lets enjoy the ride.

    Cheers

    Matt
