    Gneissic your inconsistencies are confusing me.

    So i dont know who is scaring the peeps, I also am trying to understand if todays temps are directly affecting our sea levels or not in my limited time left on this planet or not.
    Apart from stating;
    "Sea level rise lags temperature rise by centuries and millennia. It takes time for all that ice to melt. A lot of ice needs a lot of time"

    You have also said the following in past post's;
    .....Meanwhile, Arctic sea ice reached its lowest extent on September 17, the sixth lowest since satellite records began.

    then this;
    We do not know what future changes in the rates of sea level rise will be. What will the consequences of increases in the melting rates of ice sheets? Rapid melt and rapid sea level rise would create disaster. If sea levels rise more than 15mm a year we will face disaster in coastal cities all around the world and in densely populated deltas.
    Our grandchildren may be cursing us when they are our age...

    I really like the "..Our grandchildren.." bit.

    I can post the actual links if you wish.

    Which side you batting for! I am confused.
