No idea what company Optiontrader is talking about, but it is clearly one in quite a different situation to CVN.
Those of us that have followed CVN for the past decade are unlikely to regret seeing the back of the Thai assets, provided the price is reasonable.
As for spending money, that is what one MUST do in this business when the good opportunities present themselves, such as the Bedout permits. This ISN'T about lining pockets - what unsupportable drivel.
That the Thai assets are for sale does not mean that they will actually be sold - buyers might not be prepared to pay what management deem sufficient for these high risk assets - we're not desperate, just looking to minimise CRs.
