Ringing 10 brokers as you did means absolutley nothing.
Why??
A one off $21,000 stock purchase is hardly something a broker is going to get excited about
Any information you gained from such a phone call would be very general and near worthless. A broker who had good information (good or bad) about CAZ or any other stock is not going to devulge this information to someone broker shopping.
A broker giving a good or bad recommendation of any spec stock would likely be in breach of financial services regulations without first ascertaining your market knowledge, risk profile and several other important factors and therefore most would recommend various blue chips.
