The whole AGW story paints a position where the globe had a perfect climate with perfect temperatures, rainfall etc with mild storms and droughts. Then along came global warming and ruined this perfect picture.
What nonsense!
Just take a look at the last 500,000 years and you will see that we have followed a set of natural cycles with our climate. There have been 5 Ice Ages in that time. How did they occur?
In each of the 5 100,000 year cycles, we had about 85,000 years of ice age conditions and 15,000 years of warming conditions. Clearly humans didn't generate CO2 to get us warming to come out of each of those last 5 Ice ages.
We warmed naturally to climb out of each Ice Age. Sea levels rose each time as we came out of each Ice age. We then cooled naturally and moved into each of those last 5 Ice Ages with falling sea levels.
Clearly out world does experience massive natural cycles with massive change in climate with no previous human help.
Now the warmers are trying to ignore all of history and tell us that some 25 years ago we had a perfect climate that had been with us forever and it was being smashed by humans.
Give us all a break.
How many of those wonderful models indicate the next coming Ice Age? How many when back dated show each of the last 5 Ice Ages?
How does a completely natural cycle over 100,000 years produce such dramatic changes without ANY human help?
Only 15% of our time over the last 500,000 years has been in our current warm state. This warm state is in fact Un-natural and we should be very thankful that we live at this time. The other 85% of our time has been spent in ICE Age conditions which are rather uncomfortable for humans.
Our real challenge is how to survive the next Ice Age, which is bearing down on us as surely as the last 5 did.
