Dunno what you're on about buddy , without trying to politicise the ins and outs the Australian Senate has become a joke worldwide for the disproportianate number of misfits that seem to get a guernsey and the consequent power that they wield compared to their popularity.
That's completely self evident as the last two parliaments bear testament to..There isn't a sane person who doesn't think it's a joke ,but of course someone savvy like Palmer was quick to realise that all he had to do was focus on the Senate to actually be able to determine what happens in this country whilst only getting around 7% of the vote.
Everyone knows that . To pretend that it's not completely silly and a rort flies in the face of everything Gillard focused on to maintain power ,and what Abbott has tried to do to exercise his sovereignty.
The system has been unworkable for a while ,everything has its use by date ,changing this absurdity is going to be very tough but sooner or later one of these Senate cretin groups is going to do something so ridiculous that the chorus for change might lead to it
