I'm 13km from Sydney CBD in the Northern suburbs and can count a plumber, a taxi driver, some builders and a carpenter in my street. My (well my ex-wife's now) 1930's fibro 3 bedroom shack is worth $1.5 million. The only people buying in my street now are dual income professionals. Housing will get cheaper. China, Ebola, mass retirement of baby boomers, economy hitting the crapper or APRA bringing in lending controls. Plenty of triggers out there.
